Welcome to Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County!

New members are being added to the HFHEC Board of Directors for 2009.  If you are interested in joining a group committed to giving people in our community a hand up, not a hand out, please contact HFHEC Vice President Linn Ann Huntington at lhunting@fhsu.edu for more information by December 1, 2008.

HFHEC is currently working to move two houses donated by the City of Hays to different lots where they will be refurbished providing homes for two families.  Your support of this effort would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Mission Statement

Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with people in need by building and renovating houses, so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which every person can experience God's love and can live and grow into all that God intends.

More than Houses...

Habitat for Humanity seeks to build lives as well as houses.  Through the houses built, hope is restored and lives are changed as the cycle of need is broken.

Habitat for Humanity of Ellis County is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
